Add a few sexy costumes, a garish coffee hut, a wintery parking lot, a couple cars, a dog and a bunch of birds (Yes, birds!) and you've got the "perfect" scene for said holiday romance.Aiden and Kris have met under unfortunate circumstances prior to their first meeting as boss and employee at the Hottie Hut. This makes the first meeting even more awkward. Chemistry is palpable in every interaction in that tiny space. Both have shadows in their eyes and holes where their hearts should be. I loved Hot Guy! First, because HM Ward gave us a full length Holiday novel (thank you Aiden for having so much to say!!). Secondly, because Aiden and Kris and their cast of characters are about as real as you can get. Even the Viking! Lastly, because Aiden and Kris make you feel. ❤️

This is a true holiday story. Family secrets, lies and love. HM Ward has done it again. This standalone was amazing. You will not be disappointed. You will fall in love with both Kris and Aiden. The power of these 2 characters together anything can and will happen. 💗❤️
I think this novel was a success for HM Ward. It didn't drag me in like I expected, which is why I gave it 4 stars. I was able to out it down and sleep...lol. I wish the age difference between the main characters wasn't so much, but it adds to the pull. It seemed like the story was rolling along with an expected and easy ending, that was going to have an HEA tossed in there. I was pleasantly surprised to see a twist or 2 come in to keep me engaged. It was interesting, and I would recommend it as a fun read.
Considering Kris and Aiden were both hiding something from each other, their love still grew regardless. My favorite quote had to be that "age is just a number" sometimes your soul is older which is true. Overall I love the story. A perfect Christmas Story involving a hot girl and a hot guy.
I laughed out loud, often, reading this book. Kris did and said things I would do or have done/said. Nothing gets this girl down. Nothing beats her. She meets Aiden who desperately needs someone like her even if he doesn't know it at first. Good romance with a touch of suspense. But I love and read all of her books
I really enjoyed the dynamic between Kris and aiden. The way they met in such a crazy way that when she finds out he is her boss it makes her nuts.
The whole thing with Aiden ' s uncle taking his business and fortune from him makes you so angry. This whole Condition aiden's uncle states about making this coffee shack a success to win what is rightfully his makes you root for this character. This story shows that hope, love and the right person by your side can make the worst odds work out in your favor. Kris and aiden rock, and I would recommend this book.
What a great story. Aiden is definitely the hot guy and so easy to love. This was a great story and loved how he defended what he thought was right even when it would destroy his family legacy. Great strong characters.
Aiden Ryan has lost a lot in his life. Will his streak continue? He meets Kris in a bar, immediately wanting to get to know her. They make a connection, check into a hotel so you think all will go well. It spirals downward from there. Lots of different things going down in the next few weeks. The race is on for Aiden to save his inheritance. What will happen? You will have to read this fast paced, wonderful story to find out. Enjoy!!
